Attorney in the area of dispute resolution, she has experience in arbitration and multidisciplinary litigation involving civil, commercial, contractual, and intellectual property disputes, representing large domestic and multinational companies.
Rafaella is associated to the Institute of Attorneys of São Paulo (IASP), a member of the IASP Young Lawyers Commission (CAN) and Executive Secretary of the Commission for the Study of Intangible Property Rights. Rafaella is also a member of the New Generation CAM CCBC, as well as a member of the Special Arbitration Committee of the Brazilian Bar Association in São Paulo, and co-organizer of the international arbitration group of the BlackSisters in Law association.
Relevant Experiences:
Rafaella has advised one of the world’s largest technology companies on cases relating to sponsored ads, data provision, content removal and removal of accounts on the platform. The work consists of building Brazilian case law on the role of the Internet Application Provider and, above all, interpreting Law no. 12.965/2014 (Brazilian Civil Rights Framework for the Internet).
Represented one of the largest companies in the education sector in an arbitration proceeding concerning liability in the event of contract termination.
Represented luxury car dealerships and automakers in disputes involving product liability.
Represented one of Brazil’s largest tourism groups in disputes relating to contractual termination, franchise agreements and civil liability.
Rafaella’s main clients are large application providers and companies in the technology and beauty industries, as well as companies in the education, tourism and agriculture sectors.
