Summary
Marianna holds a Bachelor of Laws from Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2021), having done part of her undergraduate work at the University of Geneva and the Geneva Graduate Institute (IHEID). She is currently working on her specialization in Energy Law from the Brazilian Institute of Energy Law.
During her studies at IHEID, she was part of a research group on arbitration and its role in maintaining the prevailing social order under the guidance of Professor Thomas Schultz.
Background
She participated in the Brazilian Business Arbitration and Mediation Competition (CAMARB) in 2018 and 2021 and the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in 2019, having received the award for best speaker of the CAM-CCBC São Paulo Pre-Moot. She is currently a coach for the arbitration teams of Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo in national and international competitions.
She was an assistant to Professor Roberto Dias in Constitutional Law at Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) between 2018 and 2021, and an assistant (without an employment relationship) to Prof. Roberto Dias in Constitutional Law, also at PUC-SP in 2022.
Marianna has experience in complex litigation and in representing clients in arbitration and judicial proceedings in various types of commercial disputes.
