Luíza holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the Columbia Law School in New York, with a
research project on a comparative analysis between arbitration and the Delaware Court of
Chancery for deals litigation and corporate disputes.
She has a Bachelor of Laws from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul
Luíza is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association since 2012 and passed the New York State
Bar Exam in 2023.
Luíza has consistently worked in strategic cases in litigation.
Currently, she focuses her practice on handling complex disputes before higher courts in Brazil and in arbitration proceedings, with a focus on contractual, corporate, and commercial disputes across various economic sectors.
She served as an assistant to the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the State of Rio Grande do Sul for more than two years, contributing to the preparation of appeals to the Superior Court of Justice and Supreme Court in Brazil.
