Denny has over 14 years of experience in complex disputes, acting as an attorney.

He holds a Ph.D. in private law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and a Master’s and Ph.D. Degrees in civil law from the University of São Paulo.

He was a visiting researcher at King’s College London and a graduate academic assistant at USP.

He holds a Bachelor of Laws from Mackenzie Presbyterian University.


Denny has experience in arbitration and litigation of a multidisciplinary nature, especially involving private law, general contracts, corporate, construction, infrastructure, and competition issues.

Denny is also a member of important institutions, including the Civil Law Commission of the São Paulo Bar Association (OAB-SP), Institute of Attorneys of São Paulo (IASP), and the Brazilian Institute of Construction Law (IBDiC).

He is co-author of several books and was recognized by Análise Advocacia as the most admired lawyer by economic sector in 2022.

Relevant Experiences

Represented one of the world’s largest car manufacturers in arbitration and related judicial disputes against a foreign group of suppliers responsible for several stoppages in the production lines. The case had repercussions in several other countries and required coordination with firms from other jurisdictions (amount involved – USD 200 million, just in Brazil).

Represented one of the largest tourism industry companies in arbitration involving former managers (amount involved – BRL 67 million).

Represented one of the largest construction groups in Brazil in a dispute involving the termination of a cement distribution contract (amount involved – BRL 60 million).

Represented one of the largest mining companies in Brazil in litigation involving former management (amount involved – BRL 50 million).

Represented former partners of a gaming company in arbitration involving a purchase agreement (amount involved – BRL 35 million).

Represented the largest aviation company in Brazil in litigation involving antitrust law (amount involved – BRL 32 million).

Represented one of the largest construction companies in Brazil in litigation involving infrastructure works in the oil and gas industry (amount involved – BRL 25 million).
