Giulia holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from University of São Paulo (2021) and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Private Law from the same institution. She also holds a degree (Licence) from Université Jean Moulin Lumière Lyon III, France (2021), where she is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree (Master) in Franco-Brazilian Economic Law.

Background

Giulia has experience in handling complex judicial and arbitral disputes, especially those involving matters of Private Law. In 2022, she was awarded in the CBAr Monograph Contest for her paper “Adverse Inference as Evidence in International Arbitration: Nature, Utility, and Limits of Its Application.”

She is a researcher at the Center for Studies and Research in Arbitration (CEPArb-USP), a group composed of current and former USP students dedicated to conducting empirical research, studies, and publications on arbitration.

Giulia has also participated in USP’s teams for various national and international arbitration competitions, including the Competición de Arbitraje y Derecho Mercantil (Moot Madrid), where she received an honorable mention as speaker, the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the Brazilian Arbitration and Mediation Competition (CAMARB), and the Concours d’Arbitrage International de Paris.
